EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)
This course is designed to give the students the knowledge, skills and experience to become a competent Emergency Care provider. It is based around the FIRST PERSON on SCENE (Intermediate) Course, but has a Trainee period of 6 months. During this time the student will provide evidence of competence and skills used, by completion of a Portfolio. Students should also be closely monitored via ‘On the Job’ Assessment, carried out by Qualified Assessors. Theoretical and Practical assessments will be completed by the student at the completion of the 6 month Trainee period, along with their Portfolio.
FAST use trainers that have vast experience in both teaching and dealing with emergency scenarios.
Once the student has successfully completed the course, they will be issued with a certificate that is valid for 3 years.
