First Aid at Work


The FAW course is compliant with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

The course is designed to show members of staff how to deal with both Medical and Traumatic Emergencies within the work place.

FAST use trainers that have vast experience in both teaching and dealing with emergency scenarios.

Once the student has successfully completed the course, they will be issued with a certificate that is valid for 3 years.

Course Content

Accident and Illness Using a First Aid Kit Simple Record Keeping
Treating an Unconscious Patient Heart Conditions
Resuscitation Shock Choking
Wounds & Bleeding Burns & Scalds Poisoning
Fracture Care Eye Injuries Faints

Other Medical Conditions: CVE, Diabetes, Seizures and Allergic reactions.

FIRST AID at WORK (Refresher)

This course is for those with current First Aid at Work certificates. Upon successful completion of the course the student will be recertified for a further 3 years.

PLEASE NOTE – If your FAW certificate has expired for more than 28days from the certificate date the student must attend a full 3 day First Aid at Work course again.

Course Content

Please note that the Course Content is very similar to the full FAW Course. This can be adapted to suit any specific needs you may have, relevant to your workplace.
